‘Blog stalker’ is what a lot of brides turn into when they get engaged. This is when you constantly look at, admire, and frankly, ‘stalk’ a photographers blog on their website. The one blog I couldn’t stay off was Matt Ramos’s blog. His photography is absolutely breathtaking. All we wanted was for him to be our photographer. In fact, as soon as we picked a wedding date, we went right to Matt so see if he had our day available…which (thankfully) he did, as we booked him nearly 2 years in advance. That’s how good he is!
Even though our package did not include engagement photos, we chose to do them anyway; and we were so happy we did. It gave us a chance to see how Matt works, let us start to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and know what to expect on our wedding day. Matt was so fun, relaxed, and professional. It was like working with an old friend. We absolutely LOVED the photos and couldn’t wait for the wedding day. When it finally came, our wedding photos were flawless. He has such sophisticated and refined taste, and knows exactly what will and won’t work. He takes risks in his photos and they pay off. He is definitely on the ‘cutting edge’ with his art.
We cannot say enough nice things about Matt. As a professional, he was extremely responsive to all our calls, and emails; and his flexibility / willingness to work within our budget was fantastic. He really was so wonderful to work with, and we cannot wait to use him again when we expand our family some day. Thanks, Matt!!

We got married on 8/14/15 at Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake and we are so happy that Matt was our photographer. We were big fans of his work which we had viewed online even before we had booked our initial meeting. Once we met with Matt the first time, we knew we had to have him as our photographer. Not only is his work amazing, but he is awesome. He definitely knows his stuff and his friendly, down to earth personality is awesome. We had the amazing opportunity to work with Matt for our engagement photos which came out beautiful. He made us feel so comfortable and he captured so many amazing shots.
For our wedding, Matt and his team did an amazing job. We have only seen one teaser from our wedding so far but if the rest of the photos are even half as amazing as the photo we saw, they will be fantastic (and knowing Matt, we are sure they will be). Matt worked so well with our large bridal party and families. It was great because we could trust him to get all of the photos that we wanted and many more that we would never have thought of. The photos he captured at night in the rain could make any couple hope for rain on their wedding day.
Matt brought two of his associate photographers with him and we could not have asked for a better team to work with. Jacqueline and Tyler were great. Jacqueline went above and beyond for me, doing jobs that weren’t even photography related. She put heel protectors on my shoes so they wouldn’t sink in the grass and carried the train of my dress so it wouldn’t get wet in the rain (while she got poured on). We appreciate everything that Matt, Jacqueline and Tyler did for us for our wedding and will be recommending them to everyone we know who is looking for a photographer. To say that Matt came to our rescue is an understatement! Its was every bride’s worst nightmare, a few days before my wedding my photographer called to tell me that due to situations beyond their control they would not be able to shoot our wedding but in the same breath said I was able to find someone to take my spot. The first thought that went through my head was that I was getting someone who wasn’t that good given all of the good photographers had to be booked. My photographer assured me that Matt was the best around and that I was in good hands. I trusted her but was still a bit hesitant. 5 mins later my phone rang and it was Matt, the minute he started talking, I realized that everything was all going to be ok! Matt, knowing what I must have been feeling, was so professional and caring that all of my fears disappeared. The day of my wedding when I met him for the first time, I knew that it was by the grace of god that this man wasn’t booked the day of my wedding. Our pictures are AMAZING and knowing how Matt stepped up and came through for us and for our original photographer, show his true character, he is one of a kind and we are so lucky to have had the chance to work with him!

Where do I begin? Matt is the most professional and talented photographers I have ever seen. When I first started looking up photographers I felt overwhelmed and I thought to myself how am I supposed to know what a good picture looks like, they all look the same. I cameacross Matt Ramos Photography and instantly knew he would be our photographer and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Matt is incredibly professional and very responsive. I am very type A and also email happy and he responded every time in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and worked with me carefully to work out a time line for our big day. He was honest and didn’t push us on things just to make a buck. His pictures are amazing and he captured every detail of our wedding. The most incredible part of the experience is that he was like a phantom. He was not intrusive at all in any parts of our day, yet he nailed every picture that we wanted. I love my pictures, and the experience was like no other. You know what they say, you get what you pay for… money well spent!

Where do I even begin? Matt Ramos is absolutely fantastic! Of all the things that I had to plan for my wedding, my photographer was my number one priority since pictures last forever. When I came across Matt’s work, it quickly became apparent that his photography is second to none, and with that alone I was sold. Beyond this, Matt’s personality, professionalism, and organization far surpassed what I expected. He kept everyone laughing the whole day as we took pictures even though it was 40 degrees and raining (not that you could tell looking at the photos). Matt Ramos and his team were incredible to work with. We first began working with Matt and our photographer, Jess, an associate photographer at Matt Ramos Photography, a year before our wedding for our engagement photos. Matt was quick to respond to questions and worked with us and our budget to pick a perfect location and date to shoot our engagement photos. After our photo shoot, our engagement photos arrived within weeks and were edited to perfection. For our wedding, Matt was constantly in touch with us, answering any questions we had about the process. A month before the wedding, he called us to be sure we had every detail worked out and even settled a photo dispute (sparklers or no sparklers!?). On the day of our wedding, we worked with associate photographers Jess and Jamaica. The duo arrived on-time, worked efficiently to keep on schedule, and were so much fun! Their enthusiasm, passion, and genuine care for us made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease throughout our entire day. The pictures arrived less than three weeks after the wedding and they are magazine worthy. MRP made Adam and I look like celebrities and made us feel like royalty the whole day. If we were to go through the wedding process again, there is NO WAY we would choose any photographers BUT the photographers at Matt Ramos Photography. If you want amazing, quality pictures with the care and love you deserve on your wedding day, choose MRP. When I first began searching for a photographer, I was merely hoping for some pretty pictures. Upon contacting Matt Ramos, I was pleasantly surprised with so much more.
